Consolamentum is a Medieval Latin word that refers to a rite of spiritual baptism practiced by the Cathars. It was a sacrament that was performed when death was approaching. The ceremony made the recipient a “Cathar Perfect” or “Parfait”.

Purpose

  • The consolamentum was believed to purify the soul through the Holy Spirit, allowing it to ascend to Christ
  • It was believed to grant the recipient absolution from sin, spiritual regeneration, and the power to preach
  • It was believed to elevate the recipient to a higher plane of perfection

History

  • The Catholic Church denounced the consolamentum ritual
  • Pope Innocent III launched the Albigensian Crusade in 1209 to end Catharism
  • If the person who received the consolamentum committed a serious sin, the procedure had to be repeated

Etymology

  • The word consolamentum comes from the Latin word consolari, which means “to console”

There is a Great Hunger among Men in these Hard, Harsh Days. It is palpable. A Hunger that eats at a man’s mind the way cancer eats his body. Ravaged and Savaged, his mind but debris on the waves of Time. Hapless and helpless and adrift without steerage. Men, Young men, my tears are for you. My years run down, yours stretch out before you. No wonder you are forelorn. They have placed a cloak of illusion over your eyes. That will lift, revealing a future that you may seek. Be advised only awareness, and determination, shall see you achieve. Universe provides and guides for all men as they walk their path into their Destiny. Your hunger, that deep ache inside your gut and bones and mind, is for someone to walk that path beside you. Many of the old souls are reborn, just for the needs of these Days. We are here to Turn the Tide. When we last left this sphere, Humanity was altered. Universe has decided. The Cathari, the Romantics Return.

As we go along here these next few months, i’ll provide a few bits of context just to help you understand this new perspective that will be overtaking much of our discussions. When you talk to a Woo person, and they say “old school” they are likely speaking of pre-1200 ce. Previous to the Crusade against Reason waged by the Catholics in support of a flawed, deceptive One Principle paradigm of reality that has led us here to this shit show now. The Woo people understand that the last of the real schools died in that crusade as the Catholics burned the Cathari alive to establish the mental prison that HAD enslaved your mind. Education perished with the Cathari. Good news is we are reborn and ready to teach again.

@clif_high The term “Cathars” derives from the Greek word “katharoi,” meaning “the pure ones.” This name reflects their emphasis on living a life of spiritual purity and simplicity. Although “Cathar” was used by their opponents and later historians, the sect members themselves preferred to be called “Good Christians” or referred to their community as the “Church of the Pure.” The name “Cathars” was adopted later, emphasizing their commitment to purity which was central to their beliefs and practices. The word “cathartic” comes from the Greek word “katharsis,” which means “purification” or “cleansing.” It was originally used in the context of medicine in ancient Greece, referring to the purification of the body. In psychology, “cathartic” refers to the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions. This usage was popularized by psychoanalysis, where it is believed that bringing repressed thoughts and feelings to consciousness can lead to emotional release. In literary and artistic contexts, catharsis describes the emotional release that an audience experiences as a result of being moved by a work of art, especially tragedies. This notion was famously analyzed by Aristotle in his work “Poetics,” where he argued that tragedy, through the emotions of pity and fear, accomplishes the catharsis of such emotional extremes. Thus, “cathartic” has come to be used more broadly to describe any experience that leads to significant emotional release or transformation. The “cathari”, the people, The Good Christians, trace their history back to Persia. The ‘magi’ in the bible are references to Persian mystics/magicians, the Cathari. The Cathari were known to be able to heal deep wounds well. The physical, as they were good surgeons, and herbalists, but also the deeply psychological. There is a Cathari technique that predates modern hypnosis that used rhythmic chanting to achieve a similar state. (We kids called it ‘hymnosis’). It works. In that state, gifted healers can lift deep soul-touching damage/pain. Until the rise of the militant pope ‘innocent’, the Cathari were welcomed into any community.

The Cathari call our warriors as “bons hommes”, the Good Men. The Pharisees call our warriors as “The Seven”. The Pharisees are numologists, though poorly skilled even at this minor art. Their worship of the Other Principle blinds their minds to true knowledge. The Seven are so known to the Pharisees b/c of the last words our enemies hear in this body’s Life. There are 7. “Pais soit sur toi, mon frère errant” Peace be upon you, my errant brother. They hate us, and their fear of us extends to the thought that we may succeed in our goal of freedom for the jews.

According to the Cathari legends, the black pope ‘innocent’ set the crusade upon us to serve the pharisees, a criminal organization that owns judaism, and is captured by, and serving the Other Principle, the ‘demiurge’. In Cathari understanding, the jews are captured by the Demiurge through its control of the Pharisees who worship it. Cathari do a lot of prophecy. It’s one of our things. There is one from late 1300s where it speaks of a great battle. A culmination for this Age, a peak event, at the beginning of that Age, when “Mars steps the line, the Battle engaged, the Dames Blanches (the White Ladies) dance, the blood of the Pharisees (our Deluded Brothers) flows as wine, and the jews will be freed from their bondage.” The spooky part, the real woo to this one is that the last stanza is “The Visitors arrive. The Pure Men set a table for talk.”

The Catholic church, under Pope Innocent, burned tens of thousands of people alive. This happened 700 years ago. They did it on orders from the Pharisees, who still own that church to this day. They did this thinking the horror of that dying experience would deter us from rebirth. They were wrong. It just extended our Long Sleep. Horror such as that is difficult to integrate into your soul. An effect of how they organized it has tens of thousands of us born again, in this time. To be here, in this Eternal Now. We are Cathari. We are here. We died protecting the Perfecti. Our Living Treasures. We return as Avengers. Universe says there is no sin, no karma, for us now, in this War. Vengeance is earned. What is unfolding now, was created in this Eternal Now, by their actions 700 years ago. Cathari. Awake. Recognize yourself. Act without attachment to the result. Act without remorse. This is Dharmayudda. Righteous War.
